The client and challenge. A German industrial manufacturer needed to move from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and required its sales, distribution and materials-management processes, together with its business documents and outputs, to be tailored to the way it operates.

What SC Silver built. SC Silver designed and delivered the S/4HANA implementation and migration: configuration of the sales and distribution (SD) and materials management (MM) processes, custom-developed ABAP forms, outputs and enhancements, and the data migration and cutover from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, followed by post-go-live support.

Distinctive features. order-to-cash and procurement flows tailored to the client’s operations; custom business forms and document outputs developed specifically for the client; and ABAP enhancements written around its processes rather than generic configuration.

What it is. SAP Care is SC Silver’s own offering, packaging SAP application support and S/4HANA migration into a single, predictable monthly subscription for mid-market companies still running SAP ECC.

Distinctive features. a productised service created by SC Silver; delivered by senior Level 3 and Level 4 consultants; and combining ongoing support with a defined migration path in one package.

Commercial value. predictable support costs and a clear route to SAP S/4HANA for mid-market customers, without the need to build and maintain a large in-house SAP team.

Across these engagements, SC Silver writes and configures software rather than reselling it: custom ABAP developments, tailored SAP configuration, system integrations, and its own service products.
